If you are thinking of buying a netbook or ultrabook at the moment, you probably have come up with a lot of reasons for going with the former. Firstly, it is pretty clear that in terms of performance netbooks don't stand a chance in front of snappy ultrabooks.
Ultrabooks come with Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and 2 or 4 GB of RAM, as well as SSDs, while netbooks feature lower end Atom or AMD Fusion chipsets with 512 MB or 1 GB of memory and regular hard drives.
Aside from that, while they sport bigger displays, ultrabooks are pretty much at least as light and portable as mini laptops. They are also consistently thinner and the screens are not only larger, but better in terms of resolution and image quality as well.

Is The iPhone Boom A Business Boon?

We all know how the iPhone frenzy has grabbed popular imagination since it was first announced in Jan 2007. With its cool feature set, slick appearance, powerful computing capabilities, beautiful display and intuitive touch navigation, this poster boy of the mobile generation has captured the imagination of gizmo freaks and tech phobics alike. To get some measure of iPhone's success, one only needs refer to Tim Cook's (Apple's COO) recent statement at a conference - he said that the company had "really good confidence" the company would hit 10 million iPhones sold by the end of 2008.

According to a research from IDC, 70 percent of those polled who own, or plan to purchase an iPhone in the next year, consider it to be for both personal and business use.

Considering the vast proliferation of iPhones in such a short span, it is natural that all those who own a iPhone would want to extend its use to business as well. And it is no joy carrying around a Blackberry and iPhone in either pocket. All that does is to exert extra downward pressure on the belt. It is no wonder then, that iPhone's usability in a business context is a raging debate nowadays. That is still a secondary question, because the fact remains that present and future end users of iPhone see is as something they want to use for business.

This new Samsung Galaxy handset is to be the first in the world to offer the latest Android 4.0 operating system which is also known as Ice Cream Sandwich and is a direct upgrade to the previous Google Nexus S model which was also manufactured by Samsung.
UK retailers have already released details of their Samsung Galaxy Nexus deals which show that this new device is not going to be the most affordable at launch, a free phone is likely to set back consumers a whopping £46 per month in line rental or for a £30 upfront cost this can be connected to the next tariff down at £41 per month.

Samsung Galaxy S3 (S III) Benchmarked As Samsung Galaxy GT-I9300

http://software2tech.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Samsung-Galaxy-S3_thumb.jpgA new set of results has just been published after testing of a new Samsung Galaxy model late last month, noted as the Galaxy GT-I9300 which many believe is the model number of the new Samsung Galaxy S3 (S III).
The results of these recent tests through GLBenchmark's suite show a different screen resolution to that of the reported full HD 1080p expected on the new Galaxy S3, instead they show a 1196 x 720 pixel display which is exactly the same as the current Samsung Galaxy Nexus model.
Believed to have been performed by one of Samsung's own employees, the tests also reveal that the processor was listed as 'maxing-out' at 1.4GHz rather than the expected 1.5GHz rumoured to be powering the Galaxy S3, crucially though, there was no information into the number of cores although most now believe that it will no doubt be a quad-core chip.
This is mostly down to the fact that many rival manufacturers are already shipping new smart phone models with quad-core technology, these include the new HTC One X and LG Optimus 4X HD models, what was revealed is the Samsung GT-I9300 tested was running on a Samsung Exynos 4 processing chip which could be either the dual-core Exynos 4212 or most likely the quad-core Exynos 4414.
